Lisa M. Wickens, R.N. Lisa joined Ostroff, Hiffa & Associates in 2008 following a 22 year career in health care and government service at the State and County levels. With her background as a Registered Professional Nurse, Lisa is committed to improving health care to the most vulnerable populations. Her experience has made her a results-oriented leader accomplished in building relationships to develop health policies that better serve the people of New York. Prior to joining our team, Lisa served as the Vice President of Health Policy Initiatives for SigmaCare, specializing in electronic medical recordsfor long term care providers. Prior to the private sector Lisa worked in the New York State Department of Health as the Deputy Director for the Office of Health Systems Management. In her role at the Department of Health Lisa provided operational oversight and administration of all State and Federal surveillance programs, as well as policy direction and development. In addition to the management of New York State's health care regulatory programs, she was critical in the development and coordination of State and Federal budgets, worked collaboratively with the Governor and the Legislature on broad state-wide issues, new legislation and was responsible for engaging multiple state agencies in cooperative State-wide projects. Lisa continues to work on behalf of populations in need, serving as a Trustee to the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center and the Long Term Care Community Coalition. Lisa's Areas of Concentration:
