Vanessa Bongiorno

Vanessa joined OHA in 2010 bringing over 13 years of government relations experience to the firm. Throughout her career, Vanessa has represented a wide variety of organizations before the NYS Legislature, Executive Chamber, State agencies and local governments, primarily in the areas of health care, insurance, human services, professional licensure, higher education and public safety.

On behalf of her clients, Vanessa has assisted in the creation and development of key legislative initiatives, political strategies, grassroots advocacy campaigns and building broad based coalitions to strengthen their cause. She has extensive experience in budgetary and legislative analysis, as well as advocating for the enactment of policy in New York State.

Vanessa is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany with a dual Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration from Marist College.
