Health & Human Services Consulting
The health and human services industries are continuously evolving but the passage of the Affordable Care Act (“ACA”) combined with a weak national economy has increased the rate of change in the health care industry by 100%. The ACA seeks to expand health care coverage through coordinated, integrated health care delivery so nearly everyone in our country will have access to quality health services. Although there are debates questioning the legality of mandating people to purchase health insurance, amongst other things, it is clear health care reform and new initiatives are underway and coming whether providers are prepared or not. The burden of staying abreast of new regulations, best practices, technologies and models of care has always been a challenge in the medical and human service fields but health care reform has made staying up to date and competitive almost impossible.
